In Rogue One: A Star Wars Storythe first film in the anthology series, focuses on a group of adventurers who want to steal the plans for the Death Star. The film is set between Episode III and Episode IV, where Darth Vader is still spreading fear and terror. It is also a more serious movie, focusing on the war between the Rebels and the Empire. Silly characters like Jar-Jar Binks will therefore (thankfully) not appear again.
