Description PowerUp 2.0
With a little know-how, you can make a pretty decent paper airplane. However, even with elegant swallows, the flight hardly lasts longer than a few seconds. With the PowerUp 2.0, you can upgrade your normal paper airplanes, and they will stay in the air for more than half a minute.
Of course, the first step here is folding. If you already have a proven model, you can directly mount the PowerUp 2.0 on it. However, if you belong to the majority who have so far only produced rather sad nosedive planes, the included instructions will help you. With them, you have a choice between four tested models. Don't worry, you don't have to be an origami master to achieve this. ;)
Additionally, the set includes particularly suitable thick paper for the airplane. But it also works with other paper, here the rule is: just try it out.
Once your paper airplane is airworthy, you can install the propeller and battery. The battery also serves as a stabilizing weight at the tip of the airplane, which used to be the paperclip. ;) Both are connected via a carbon fiber. It is important that you test the entire apparatus again before charging the battery. If everything is balanced, the battery can be charged with the handy charging station. This takes about 20 seconds, and you will need three AA batteries for the station.
All set? Then just let your paper airplane fly. A good half minute it will stay in the air, no normal paper airplane can achieve that. How far it goes, of course, depends on the model, wind, and other influences. But with a little practice, you can cover decent distances. Once the propeller runs out of energy, simply recharge it with the mobile charging station.
In any case, the kit includes a second propeller in case of a stronger collision. The set is recommended for children aged eight and up, but we are convinced that you shouldn't leave all the fun to the kids. ;)
