If you order your shirt in this version, you provide better living conditions for the cotton workers and also help to protect the nature: Our organic-t-shirts are certified according to the following two international standards: the EKO label and the Fairtrade Certification Mark. The EKO label guarantees that the cotton is produced without using pesticides or artificial fertilisers - that is better for the environment and also much healthier for the cotton-workers! Additionally, the Fairtrade Certification Mark shows that the position of the cotton producers is strengthened and at the same time their living and working conditions are improved. By creating these conditions our supplier for the oragnic-t-shirts, B&C, is not just following a current trend: He has applied the FWF's Code of Labour Practices (FWF = Fair Wear Foundation) to his own business operations for a long time now. This code ensures that the compliance with fair working conditions is audited by independent organisations all over the world. It excludes child and forced labour, the disrimination against employees and guarantees the right to collective bargaining and healthy working conditions. Through his participation in the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative) B&C is actively helping to establish social and ecological standards and their independent observation based upon the international SA8000 standard. Furthermore, all products from B&C have the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certification. This means that in all stages of the production substances which are harmfull to health are not used.
