In principal, the Magic Wand Remote Control is a universal remote control in the shape of a magic wand which can detect gestures and transform them into infrared signals. These infrared signals then control your electronic appliances like a normal remote control. You can use your normal remote control to teach the Magic Wand Remote Control the correct signals, which makes it possible to control nearly all electronic devices. For example, you could switch on your TV by moving the wand down and adjust the volume of your radio by rotating it. In total, you can program 13 different gestures.

The Magic Wand Remote Control looks like a real magic wand and comes in a very noble packaging. The (english) instructions look like an antique document. Additionally, you can find the instructions in German here and in French here.

The stick has a length of about 36cm and needs 2 AA batteries (which are included).
