When you weigh yourself, the Withings Online Scales connects to your WiFi network and transmits your current weight to an online application, which analyses your data and displays it as a continuous curve.

Besides measuring your weight, the Withings Online Scales can also gauge your body fat mass and your meager body mass. Additionally, it is able to calculate the body mass index. All this data is of course displayed directly on the scales - but with the online application you are also able to review it over flexible periods of time from nearly every computer or smartphone in the world. The application supports up to 8 persons using the same scales and everyone can see their weight development without any time limit.
Extra geeky: You can also publish your weight on twitter automatically! So, if you're one of those persons who even share their meals with their followers: Be consequent and inform them of your weight, too! And if you are a programmer: The scales also offer a programming interface which allows you to script your own applications that process the data of the scales.

The Withings Online Scales does not only have a classy design but is also made of high quality materials. It's surface is made of hardened glass with metallic covering. The display is illuminated from behind and therefore can be easily read.
The Scales size is 32x32x2,3cm and its weight is 2,3 kg. It can handle a weight of up to 180 kg. The display measures 62x40mm.
The delivery includes 4 AAA batterys (which are needed for the scales to work), a 1,5m USB cable, 4 carpet feet and a measuring tape to calculate the body mass index.
