Volcanic eruptions can be very fascinating - at least if you can supervise them from a safe distance. This USB volcano is definitely not dangerous, but can nevertheless let you experience a little bit of the fascination of a real volcano:

At first, you have to fill the case of the volcano with water. After that, the volcano starts to erupt small red plastic balls, which then sink down slowly - a little bit like the lava of a real volcano. Phases of eruption and cool down alternate: In the eruption phase, the red balls are shot up and they sink down in the cool down phase. Additionally, the volcano case is illuminated in red color in the eruption phase and in blue color in the cool down phase.

The USB Volcano has a height of about 25cm and needs a free USB port. The included USB cable has a lenght of 1m. The device has an on/off-switch and it is possible to change the speed of the animation.
