The Robot Arm comes in parts, so you first have to assemble it. To do so, you need only long-nose pliers, diagonal cutters and a screwdriver. Of course, the assembly requires a bit of sleight-of-hand, but clear instructions are included, which describe every step with a drawing; they even have conduit plans.

What are the Robot Arm’s abilities in detail?
The Robot Arm has five gears, each of which is controllable separately with its own motor. First, the whole arm can rotate horizontally 270°. The first vertical gear is located directly on the base, which can rotate 180°. The elbow manages 300° and the wrist 120°. The gripper can be closed completely and opened 4cm wide.

This high degree of flexibility makes it possible to actually grab small items, lift them up and put them down somewhere else. A special extra is the small LED on the gripper, which enables accurate grasping even in the dark.
The Robot Arm is connected to the five-switch control unit with a 95-cm flat cable.
