The creator of the Milky Way Transit Authority probably had the same idea, and thought up a route network for our galaxy, the Milky Way.
We printed this map as poster. It looks exactly like a normal subway network map, complete with colour coded lines and "Milky Way Transit Authority" company branding.

In the creation of the Milky Way Transit Authority Poster, much attention to detail ensured the nearly correct reproduction of astronomic information. The lines follow the spiral arms of our galaxy, with stations at all the major points of interest in the Milky Way, from the Orion Nebula, via the globular clusters M13 and Omega Centauri, to our own sun.
