Did you ever misplace your keys or your purse and weren't able to find it again? Now you can use the Loc8tor to help you in such situations:

The Loc8tor consists of a searching device and small tags. If you attach the tags to the things you don't want to loose, you can easily search for them with the searching device. The search works in the following way: After choosing the tag you want to search for, the searching device starts to receive the signals from the tag. It then displays the strength of the signal and starts to beep with loudness according to the signal strength. You now have to turn around until the Loc8tor indicates the strongest signal. This is the direction where you will find the tag. In order to make the search even easier, the tag starts to beep and flash while you are searching for it.

The Loc8tor Plus version has an additional feature: If you use the special Panic Tags, the Locat8or Plus will alert you if the tag leaves a certain radius around the Loc8tor Plus device. The radius can be chosen between three modes (near, medium and far). Please notice that this function is only available for the Plus version. You can use this mode for example for keeping track of children.

The normal Loc8tor can manage up to 4 tags and the signal strength is displayed by LEDs. The Plus version has a LCD display and can manage up to 24 tags. The Loc8tor can locate items up to 180m away (based on a clear line of sight, it will be lower in buildings). Two tags are included with the normal version and in the Plus version, you will get 3 normal tags and one Panic Tag.

You can order additional Tags, Panic Tags and Covers for the Tags in packs of two. The latter are available for key rings and mobiles or for the collar of your pet.

The tags have the following dimensions: 30.5mm x 19.5mm x 8.5mm. They weigh 5g. The normal searching device measures 5,5cm x 8,5cm x 0,5cm and the Loc8tor Plus searching device measures 11cm x 1,5cm x 5cm. The searching device of the normal version needs a CR2032 battery and the searching device of the Plus version needs 2 AAA batteries. Each tag needs a LR54 battery. All batteries are included. The endurance of the batteries depends on the intensity of using. They usually will last 2-9 months.
