Heads up Geeks! This colourful LED Cube puts on a fantastic light show and in interesting ways!
A great light show:
The 64 LEDs, in the shape of a cube, light up in over 1000 different colour hues and in many different patterns. For example, sometimes the LEDs light up individually in rippling sequences, and sometimes whole clusters chase around the cube with changing colours.
The light patterns and colours change rapidly, several times per second. And over the course of a full 30 minutes, no pattern is repeated!
The LED Cube, with its rippling patterns and multiple colours, is extremely impressive, especially in a darkened room. The stunning effects are sure to grab the attention at parties. Not only that, watch the light show and enjoy the experience of being lulled into peaceful relaxation.
A true geeky look:
Even switched off, the LED Cube looks cool: Situated on a glossy black base, the LEDs are arranged in a network of electric wires, fully visible, as are too are the circuit elements. Only the fully transparent Plexiglas cover protects the filigree structure.
This retro-cool design makes the LED Cube look like you built it yourself… Only you will know that you didn't have to spend hours putting it together! Now, at the push of a button, you’ve got your own personal light show.
The interesting electronics:
If you're into reverse engineering, the LED Cube will interest you: In the detailed image, you can see that there are possibilities to plug something in, so there may be the possibility to program your own light show (but we didn't test that).
Even without voiding the warranty, it is interesting to think about how each calibration of the LEDs is realized, since, the status of each LED automatically affects others sharing the same conduits.
The LED Cube isn't just beautiful to look at, it can even tell you a lot about electronics!
