Don't you want to own a robot which is always with you and which can cheer you up when you are bored? Then the Hexbugs are perfect for you: The Hexbugs are small robots with different abilities. All of them can walk with their small legs, but their reaction to their environment is different.

The Hexbug Original moves forward until he comes to an obstacle. He detects this with his two antenna and then changes his direction. Additionally, you can tell him to change directions by clapping your hand. Hexbug Original is about 3cm high.

The Hexbug Crab reacts to light. He moves according to its internal movement pattern until he has found a dark place to hide. There he will stay until you wake him up by clapping your hand. He will then start to move again. Crab is about 4cm high.

The Hexbug Inchworm comes with a remote control, which you can use to move him forward, backward or make him turn around. The remote control has two channels so that you can control two Inchworms simultaneously. Inchworm is about 6cm high.

The Hexbug Ant rotates his legs to move all around the room. As soon as his antennas hit an obstacle, he changes direction and starts off again! Speed is his speciality – he moves so fast that you’ll hardly be able to catch him! He is about 3cm high.

The Hexbug Nano is our smallest robot bug. Just 4,5cm long, he’s only half the length of his big brothers. He scurries around by vibrating his legs made of flexible vulcanized rubber, and when he hits an obstacle he changes direction and carries on and on. The Hexbug Nano is 1,5cm high.


All robots are so small that you can also let them walk on your desktop. They need two AG13 batteries (which are included).
The Hexbugs are shipped in different colours (more pictures). Unfortunately our shipping system doesn't allow to choose the product colours. Thus you get your Hexbug in a random colour.
