Is it possible to improve the genious Happy Hacking Keyboard Lite? Sure, just use this Happy Hacking Keyboard Prof.!
The most outstanding feature of the Prof. version is the circular cone spring technology that records key pressure. In contrast to the normal membrane technology this leads to a softer key pressure and a longer keyboard life (a key pressure is recognized after 4mm and needs a force of 45g).
Besides that, the keyboard has all the features of the Lite 2 version:
- the keyboard is very small so that no unnecessary finger movements are required. An additional function-key (Fn-Key) enables alternative key commands (have a look at the additional pictures, the different Fn-modes can be changed using a jumper).
- there is no annoying "Windows-Key" but a neutral diamond-key.
- The keyboard has english key layout which is very nice especially for programmers.
- there is no "Caps-Lock"-Key. At the place of the normal Caps-Lock is the "Ctrl"-Key.
- You can change the meaning of the Backspace-Key to "Delete" with a jumper.
And as a very special gimmick the keyboard is available as a blank-key version.
