Das Keyboard has been designed for people who spend many hours a day working on a computer and for whom typing productivity and comfort does matter.
It is available in a version with and without key inscriptions. This is the version without inscriptions. The version with inscriptions can be found under the name Das Keyboard Model S Professional.

The new version, called Model S Ultimate, uses improved electronics compared to the previous version and also offers some addtional multimedia functions. In total, these are its extraordinary attributes:

High-quality keys
Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate comes with mechanical key switches with gold contacts which were designed by the German company Cherry. In the normal version, the keys compare to the legendary IBM model M by providing a tactile and audio click that makes typing pure joy (for professionals: Blue Cherry switches are used). Additionally, there is a silent version available, which has the same key switch quality, but does not make a clicky sound (brown Cherry switches are used for this keyboard).

No key inscriptions
Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate has 100% blank keys. So it is the perfect gadget to cause amazed looks of your colleagues. And since there is no key to look at when typing, your brain will quickly adapt and memorize the key positions and you will find yourself typing a lot faster with more accuracy in no time.

N-Key rollover
Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate allows up to 6 keys to be pressed simultaneously when used on the USB port (on the PS/2, even more keys can be pressed at once). Great for fast typists and gamers alike.

USB 2.0 hub
The high-speed USB hub allows to sync and charge your iPhone and iPod or any USB compatible devices.

The Das Keyboard Model S Ultimate is available in 4 versions:

Ultimate US:		104 keys without inscriptions in US Layout
Ultimate EU:		105 keys without inscriptions in German Layout
Ultimate US Silent:		104 keys without inscriptions in US Layout without clicky sound
Ultimate EU Silent:		105 keys without inscriptions in German Layout without clicky sound

Das Keyboard is connected to your computer using USB or PS/2 and it comes with a 2m long cable. It is colored in glossy black and it works with all newer operating systems (like Windows, Linux and Mac OS X). All versions come with two Windows keys.

Accessories
Especially for gamer, we offer the WASD keys in green and the escape key in red in a set. For the easier replacement, a key cap puller is part of the delivery.
This key cap puller can be ordered seperately, too.
