You probably know this situation: You're on your way back home after a long LAN party and you're endlessly tired but can't relax in the train, because you always have to keep an eye on your precious hardware. Now you can avoid this scenario: With the BlueNio you don't have to worry about your luggage anymore. The security tag will warn you if your things leave the place next to you and it will also assist you with a lot more useful features in your daily life.

The BlueNio is special compared to other tagging systems: It doesn't need an extra locating device. Instead, you can just use your smartphone or PDA: Only install the included software on your mobile phone and attach the BlueNio to the piece you don't want to loose. Your mobile phone then connects to the BlueNio and checks if it's still around. As soon as the BlueNio leaves the user-defined security zone, your mobile and the BlueNio notifies you with an alarm sound. Additionally, a small LED on the BlueNio starts to flash. This way it is nearly impossible to loose your belongings or your mobile phone anymore.

Using the software on your mobile you can calibrate the BlueNio in a very flexible way: You are able to change the range of the security zone (up to 20m), you can choose between several alarm sounds and choose different sounds for different tags or you can switch off the sounds and replace them with a vibration alarm. The software additionally offers a calendar function, which can activate and deactivate the BlueNio automatically for certain time spans. For example, you can activate it for your daily journey to work only and switch it off when you are at home. If you loose your BlueNio device, you can of course use the software on your mobile to manually activate the alarm on the BlueNio remotely, which makes it easy to find it again.

The BlueNio has a rechargeable battery that lasts for several weeks. To recharge it, just use the included USB cable, which has a length of 70cm. A USB to power socket adapter is included. The BluNio measures 6,3x2,8x1,5 cm.
