About us

We think it is much nicer if the owners of an internet shop are not anonymous and that is why we would like to introduce ourselves. We both have been interested in computers for a long time and have spend a great deal of time with them for many years now. Somewhen around the age of 11 or 12 we started programming (back then, using BASIC and a C64 *g*) and at the age of 18, we founded our own business so that we could finance our expensive hardware equipment. We started with creating internet sites and programming Perl- and PHP-scripts (among those the perl-shop that getDigital.de is based on), but in June 2002 we had the idea that Europe needs a shop like this urgently (which does not mean that we are not programming anymore now). By the way: We both also studied, Florian Computer Science and Philipp Physics.

Our aim is to satisfy you in every aspect. This means of course that we will handle your order with great care, but if nevertheless something goes wrong, you can be sure that we will take all your concerns very seriously. So please do not hesitate to contact us if there is a problem or if you have a special wish.
